As you know, The Brewers Association (BA) is hosting the ninth edition ofthe World Beer Cup® in 2012. We appreciate your past and continued support of this prestigious beer competition.

The World Beer Cup is truly an international affair, and the BA is committed to maintaining and growing the number of entries from non-U.S. breweries around the globe. We are writing to ask your help in spreading the word to brewing organizations and breweries in your country about the competition.

Please consider sharing the email below with your contacts at brewing associations, publications and breweries that may have an interest in the World Beer Cup. Additionally, the Brewers Association can provide print and online advertisements should an organization wish to become an official endorser of the World Beer Cup.

In 2012, the Brewers Association (BA) will host the ninth edition of the World Beer Cup® (established in 1996). The BA is inviting breweries from around the globe to enter the competition.

The mission of the World Beer Cup is to create greater consumer awareness around the world about the quality and diversity of beers brewed around the world.

Breweries from dozens of countries and every continent have won awards at the World Beer Cup. They proudly use their prestigious awards to promote their beer and to grow a following of enthusiastic beer lovers.

Entries for the 2012 World Beer Cup will be accepted starting October 10, 2011. More information will be found at WorldBeerCup.org and sent by mail this October. We predict the competition will be completely full again in 2012, so please plan to register early.

Judging will take place May 1 and 2, 2012. Awards will be presented at the World Beer Cup Gala Awards Ceremony on May 5, 2012, during the Craft Brewers Conference in San Diego, California.

Please join your fellow brewers in the World Beer Cup, the “Olympics” of beer and the most prestigious beer competition in the world.
